Tributes

This page is dedicated to folks I would love to salute:

  • Roger Ebert (1942-2013)
The balcony is closed.  Well-known Sun Times movie critic Roger Ebert passed away at 70 years old on the morning of April 4, 2013.  We will all miss you, Roger, and you are a legend!  Below are some of his most famous quotes:

“Every great film should seem new every time you see it.”

“No matter what they're charging to get in, it's worth more to get out.”

“No good movie is too long and no bad movie is short enough.”

  • I'd like to thank Jesus Christ for all the many blessings He has given me each and every day, especially for the blessing of my life, my amazing family and friends!  He has always been there with me!  Thank you, Jesus for everything you have taught me in life and for coming into the world to sacrifice yourself for me!  Happy Birthday!  I love you!

  • I'd like to thank Mr. Cory Jensen, my art teacher, who has helped me achieve greater art techniques, as well as helped me with the creation of this blog.

  • I want to thank Mr. Gary Cogill, my favorite movie critic, formerly from WFAA, who has always inspired me in my love of movies.

  •  I'd like to thank my awesome family for encouraging me and loving me always.
